Happy with product, not too happy for how long it took

Hello Souq,

As the title suggests, I’m very happy that I finally got my products. However, it took about five-six weeks to get the product because there is some issue with customs.

I appreciate how fast you guys were to answer my emails but the tracking was not accurate at all and I was questioning if my products would even come at all.
I actually didn’t get my products 25 days ago as this email says I actually got it yesterday Friday March 8th

In my email thread, whoever I was talking to mentioned a potential refund because of the issue. That would be greatly appreciated for the inconvenience.

Good Turkish Souq service - FedEx made a mistake with import duties

I got the perfume at a good price (with a discount) and the service from Turkish Souq was swift.

However, the transporter Fedex made a mistake in that they calculated the import duties from the "full price" instead of calculating the duties from the discounted price that I actually paid to Turkish Souq. As a result, I paid too much in import duties for importing the perfume to Denmark.

It took several calls to FedEx in order to make FedEx realize that they had made a mistake and, in my opinion, they were not very forthcoming. But in the end FedEx promised to correct the mistake with the custom authorities, and now I have to wait up to four months in order to get the money back in import duties from the custom authorities that I paid too much.

So, I wanted to give Turkish Souq 5/5 points, but now I will only give you 4/5 points, because of the problems I have had with FedEx and the import duties.

I realize that the mistake is made by FedEx and not by Turkish Souq, but maybe Turkish Souq should write the discounted price on top of the invoice that you send to FedEx instead of in the middle of the invoice in order to make it less easy for FedEx to make such a mistake.

Since you are paying the shipping included, there shouldn't be an extra shipping fee. That price can be a customs clearance fee or VAT. Since each country has its own customs laws and regulations other fees, such as customs, taxes, or VAT may be required for your order under the complete discretion of your local government.
