What is I-size? i-Size is part of the new European Union car seat safety regulation and UN R 129 safety requirements that came into force in July 2013.
This arrangement was made considering the maximum safety of the baby at the time of the accident and started to be implemented.
While providing enhanced head and neck protection with the regulation, it makes it mandatory for the car seat to be mounted in the opposite direction of travel (rear facing) up to a minimum of 15 months (up to the child's height of 105 cm) and Isofix. Choosing a seat according to the height of the child, not the weight, is framed and a contemporary approach to child safety in the vehicle has been introduced.
