Soil Moisture Detection Sensor

The soil moisture sensor is a sensor used to detect the amount of moisture in the soil. It has a two-pad sensor probe that detects the water content in its structure. When this probe is immersed in the medium to be measured, a voltage difference occurs between its ends due to the resistance created by the medium. According to the magnitude of this voltage difference, the amount of moisture can be measured. Sensitivity can be adjusted thanks to the trimpot on the board. Usable with most microcontrollers, this sensor is perfect for installing an automatic irrigation system or monitoring your plants' soil moisture.
