A4988 is a chip designed to control stepper motors with microsteps. Full, half ¼, 1/8 and 1/16 bipolar motor drive modes are available. The motor drive voltage supports up to 35v volts. It can drive up to 2A motor and its current can be controlled by the current regulator. It sends a signal to one phase of the stepper motor in each signal. The rotation step of the motor can be counted according to the motor type used.
