Qtrxl-Md-01A Reflectance Sensor Array

The Pololu QTRXL-MD-01A sensor is an infrared sensor that consists of an infrared LED/phototransistor pair and produces analog outputs according to the reflection of IR light (reflectance sensor). The main difference compared to QTRX is that it can provide high current from the emitter and can detect longer distances. Reflection occurs when a black-white color change or an object enters the sensor active area at a fixed distance. QTR/QTRX/QTRXL sensors are used in applications and structures such as line following, sumo robots, exiting the maze. Unlike these, it can be preferred for use as a general purpose proximity and presence sensor.
